Fostering social responsibility through club activities and NSS.
The institute undertakes a mission to raise awareness of societal issues among the faculty members and students. The institute is adamant about adopting a socially conscious organizational culture and seeks to encourage residents to uphold high social responsibility standards. The institute makes an attempt to foster students’ social responsibility.
The institute goals for fostering social responsibility are listed below.
- To offer direction and support for the students to participate in the social services.
- To encourage the creation of social environments.
- To serve as an indicator of upcoming social events.
The Context:
Considering the need of returning to the society the institute has created an ecosystem by forming different clubs and participating in national Service Scheme. Students are encouraged to take part in events that support environmental sustainability and societal harmony. By supporting the use of environmentally friendly methods and products, the institute additionally supports sustainable living.
The Practice:
The coordinator and members of each club approach the students for a participating in different club activities. The club has coordinators who discuss the organization’s goals and offer advice on how to foster a positive attitude toward social responsibility. After the regular lessons, the club is given a specific time slot for regular practice and meetings. To help students build stronger relationships with the community, numerous seminars and awareness campaigns are arranged. Numerous programs, including those promoting women’s rights, rural development, energy conservation, health awareness, and other topics, have been organized by the clubs. Through the aforementioned club activities, students are heavily inculcated with the following social views.
- The students conscientiously participate in local community service projects to make the surroundings a better place.
- Students are urged to get involved in charitable initiatives that help the less fortunate.
- Discussions about critical social responsibility-related topics. The discussions encourage students to be more socially responsible by sharing their personal experiences.
- Plan field visits to places that encourage social interaction, accountability, and responsibility. Students’ education about the significance of social duty is systematized in this way.

Formation of International Affair Cell
Objectives:
- To provide International exposure to the students and faculty.
- To organize short-duration visits to reputed universities abroad
- To inculcate Cross-cultural awareness
- To provide an opportunity to work on projects in future technology
- To promote active linkage between Indian and Foreign Higher Education Institutions
- To organize academic and research workshops, seminars.
- To develop global employability skills
The Context:
Internalization promotes sharing of best academic and research practices through interactions between diverse education systems. Nowadays international collaboration is regarded as an effective tool of excellence in education. The major intention of International Affairs Cell is to expand international relations of Sandip Foundation in educational, technical and cultural domains. The International Affairs Cell of Sandip Foundation works on academic mobility and scientific research cooperation. International Affairs Cell focuses on International cooperation as well as support for organization of International conferences, seminars and presentations etc.
The Practice:
Presently the institute is having ten active MOUs with renowned International Universities across the globe for facilitating exchange of knowledge and technical insights. Under these MOUs certain activities are scheduled like participation in summer school training program, organization of guest lectures, workshops and participation in faculty and students exchange for higher education and research.
