On the occasion of International Women’s Day, at Sandip Institute of Engineering and Management, we had the privilege of attending an insightful session by Dr. Charusheela Khairnar on the topic “Understanding Rights and Law: A Dialogue on Equality and Protection.” Dr. Khairnar shared valuable knowledge about the legal rights and protections available to women, explaining them in a clear and practical manner. Her session encouraged everyone to become more aware of their rights and highlighted the importance of equality, dignity, and justice in society.
The discussion was both informative and empowering, helping participants understand how awareness of law can play a vital role in ensuring safety, confidence, and fairness for women in different spheres of life.
We sincerely thank Dr. Khairnar for sharing her expertise and for guiding us through such an important subject. Her thoughtful insights made this Women’s Day celebration truly meaningful and inspiring for all of us.

Sandip Institute of Engineering and Management celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March 2026. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we had the privilege of attending a truly enlightening session by Dr. Gauri Upasni on the emotional health and well-being of women. The session was highly informative, thoughtful, and deeply relevant to everyone present.

Dr. Gauri explained the importance of emotional health in a very simple, relatable, and practical manner. Her insights helped us reflect on how essential it is to take care of our mental and emotional well-being while managing the many responsibilities of daily life. Her words encouraged us to pause, understand ourselves better, and give due importance to self-care and emotional balance.
The session was not only informative but also inspiring, leaving all of us with meaningful takeaways that we can apply in our personal as well as professional lives. We sincerely thank Dr. Gauri for generously sharing her time, knowledge, and valuable experiences with us.
We are truly grateful for this opportunity to learn from her and for making this International Women’s Day celebration even more meaningful and memorable.

Navadurga are nine manifestations and forms of Durga in Hinduism, especially worshipped during Navaratri and Durga Puja. They are often considered collectively as a single deity, mainly among the followers of Shaktism and Shaivism sect of Hinduism. During the festival of Navaratri girls are worshipped and fed as they are considered to be the incarnations of these nine goddesses. All ladies faculty members of Sandip Institute of Engineering & Management, Nashik, celebrated Navaratri festival in the  Anath Balikaashram, Khamabale, Trimbakeshwar near the Institute. The ladies donated daily needs items such as Soaps, Oil, Sanitary napkins and many more things.

SIEM students and Women’s Development Cell enthusiastically organised Workshop on “Awareness on Women’s Online Safety” All the Faculty and Students got the information that Cyber Safety which will help the society and world a better place to live in. Also students got the awareness about Online Cyber crime reporting portal and safety instructions to stay safe online

SIEM students and Women’s Development Cell enthusiastically organized Workshop on “Cyber Security” on 13th October 2022 to make students aware of security threats and attacks in today’s world. Also to show students how devices are hacked. Students have learned the importance of data security in social network. They have also understood how the hacking is done. Various case studies had made them realize how they can be in problem if they do any illegal things on internet. Overall it was a great session for students.

SIEM students and Women’s Development Cell enthusiastically celebrated the Women’s day. International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March 2023 was “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. SIEM had organised a session of Advt. Indrayani Patani on gender equality and empowerment. All the women faculty members were felicitated on the occasion for their achievements.

SIEM has organized the Panel Discussion of Women Leader on “Leading the century of Innovation” on 8th March 2022 (Tuesday) at 11.00 am on digital platform of Google Meet and YouTube Live Streaming. Around 100 students of SIEM joined the meet on Google Platform and 159 students preferred to join on YouTube live. The details of Panel members are:
